Who is DXC Technology?
DXC Technology (DXC) is one of the world’s largest and most successful IT companies and knowing our people and demonstrating our values are the most important elements of our success. We invest in personal growth and development creating an environment where you will be supported to build a thriving career.
DXC’s First Nations Program (FNP)
The DXC First Nations Program is a paid employment program designed to identify and recruit people from within the first nations community and provide the necessary workplace and cultural support skills to help build a career.
This is done in a supported team environment with a dedicated First Nations Consultant and team leaders who are culturally competent in working with First Nations people.
DXC Workplaces
DXC has embraced a more flexible and agile work experience. Some staff work at DXC’s office sites when their role requires a physical presence. Others work from home when their role can be performed remotely online without visiting a DXC office.
Can you tell me about what Untapped does?
Great question! At Untapped, we’re all about unlocking potential—whether that’s helping businesses find hidden talent or supporting First Nations Peoples to build meaningful careers. We’re proud to partner with DXC Technology to offer opportunities in the workers' compensation industry. It might sound like insurance and admin, but at its heart, this work is about helping people rebuild their lives and get back on their feet when it matters most.
And that’s where you come in.
Okay, and what role are you recruiting for?
We’re looking for First Nations Trainees to step into Trainee Administrative Officer roles.
This isn’t just another admin job. As a trainee, you’ll:
Support case managers with day-to-day tasks like managing medical certificates, and processing invoices.
Make connections with customers through phone calls and emails.
Keep the business moving by handling data entry, maintaining records, and ensuring documents are processed quickly and accurately.
You’ll gain hands-on experience through a Training Academy and on the floor support while contributing to meaningful work in an industry that helps people recover and thrive.
What kind of person are you looking for?
We’re looking for people who are ready to learn, grow, and bring their unique perspective to the team. You don’t need heaps of experience, but here’s what will help you succeed:
Microsoft Office savvy: You’re comfortable with Word, Excel, and email.
Attention to detail: Spotting typos and double-checking numbers is your superpower.
Confidentiality: You understand that some information is private and handle it with care.
Communication skills: You’re confident with both emails and phone calls.
Reliability and resilience: You show up, stay focused, and keep going, even when things get tough.
If you don’t tick every box, no problem! We’re more interested in your can-do attitude and willingness to give it a go than a perfect work history. We’ll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
What makes this opportunity special?
We know work is about more than just a pay cheque. At Untapped, we offer:
Cultural support: A dedicated First Nations Consultant will mentor you, support your wellbeing, and help you create a personalised career plan.
Flexibility: Whether its cultural leave, carers leave, or volunteer days, we work around what matters to you.
Growth opportunities: This is just the beginning. We’re all about helping you carve out a career path that excites you.
Work-life balance: From hybrid roles to purchased leave options, we make sure you have time to do what you love.
This sounds great! How do I apply?
We’d love to hear from you!
