The role of Trainee Claims Support Officer is an administrative role that provides dedicated support to worker’s compensation case managers in Sydney and is offered by Untapped as part of the DXC Dandelion Program. The offices are located in a state of the art technology park, close to public transport and onsite parking.


You must be diagnosed as neurodivergent to be successful in applying for this role.

The DXC Dandelion Program has been developed to identify and support neurodivergent people into the DXC Technology community. As part of the DXC Dandelion Program you will be supported in your workplace by a dedicated Neurodiversity Workplace Development Consultant.

Position: Trainee Claims Support Officer


Job Description: The role of the Trainee Claims Support officer is to provide support to case managers. This could involve Administration and Processing of Invoices, Data Entry and Ensuring quality and compliance, Customer focus and handling phone calls, and any ad-hoc business needs to ensure the success of the business.


Note: it is NOT a pre-requisite that you have prior skills in the areas detailed above as you will receive training in these as part of the DXC Dandelion Program.


You will be paid while you attend DXC Technology’s Training Academy delivered by highly skilled instructors. You will also receive group and individualised support training and education from your Workforce Development Consultant and your DXC team leader.


What you will need:

  • Formal or informal Neurodivergence diagnosis (letter from your doctor or other medical professional)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications

  • Competent in keyboard skills

  • Confidence to be trained to make and receive phone calls.


Location: Hybrid & DXC Technology Macquarie Park, Sydney NSW.

When the business considers you can work independently, there are options to work from home up to 3 days per week.


Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5 pm, or

8.30 am to 3.30 pm for those commencing part-time


Important: Successful applicants will initially be engaged on a fixed-term contract basis with Untapped-Talent. There could be future opportunities to transition into permanent roles with DXC based on business requirements, individual performance, suitability, and work skills capabilities.
