ABOUT THE ROLE:

Position: Neurodivergent Trainee Junior Compliance Officer

 

Job Description

The role of the Neurodivergent Trainee Junior Compliance Officer is to:

  • Ensure compliance with the NSW Workers Compensation Agency Agreement

  • Provide independent performance verification

  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls and an internal audit program

  • Conduct audits against the audit program

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation and fraud prevention strategies

  • Give detailed reports to management and senior leadership

  • Liaise with internal and external clients

  • Mentor and coach the compliance team

 

Location: Hybrid & DXC Technology Macquarie Park, Sydney NSW.

 

Flexible working arrangements

In line with our commitment to a flexible and dynamic work environment, we have adopted a hybrid approach that acknowledges the importance of in-person collaboration while recognising that your work location will be based on various factors to ensure individual preferences and operational needs are met.

 

After completing your training and at your team leaders' discretion, you will work at the DXC Macquarie Park office at least 2 days a week, with the option to work from home or the office for the remaining 3 days.

 

Salary Range: Competitive salary

 

Important: Successful applicants will initially be on a fixed-term contract basis with Untapped-Talent. There will be future opportunities to transition into permanent roles with DXC based on business requirements, individual performance, suitability, and work skills capabilities.

 


ABOUT YOU + OUR TRAINING


About you

You will need the following skills, experience or knowledge:

  • Formal or informal Neurodivergence diagnosis (letter from your doctor or other medical professional)

  • Strong knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation, Legislation, Policies and guidelines

  • Claims management experience (preferred)

  • Compliance / Internal audit experience

  • Understanding of internal control framework testing and monitoring

  • Risk management experience

  • Skills with Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong self-motivation to learn

  • High attention to detail

 

Note: it is NOT a pre-requisite that you have prior skills in the areas detailed above as you will receive training in these as part of the DXC Dandelion Program. 

 

Highly skilled instructors from DXC Technology's Training Academy will deliver training around case management, and further training specific to compliance will be on-the-job. This skills training package will give you individualised support, training and education to carry out the duties of the role.
